In a place known for its sub-tropical plants it seemed odd that on a recent visit to the Abbey Gardens in Tresco, one of my lasting memories was that of the statues. Of these, The Tresco Children, a bronze sculpture by David Wynne (below-left) and Gaia by, ermmm, someone else (below-right) really stood out.
